Jasmina Vico worked closely with her chemist to develop a formula containing a triple-coded network of rare macro algae and seaweeds to feed the skin with a rich source of diverse bio-actives, proteins, polysaccharides and fatty acids; known to boost the skin’s intra-cellular energy, stimulate collagen formation, oxygenate, ease redness and protect the skin barrier from environmental aggressors.

#1 Fucus Vesiculosus | The Star Active
Screen Star’s hero ingredient, also known as Bladderwrack, is rich in essential B Complex vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, including B3 (Niacin) known to help reduce the signs of skin ageing and rapidly minimise inflammation.

This algae is packed with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory polyphenols, antibacterial biogenic compounds and Vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, C, E, A and D. These all work together to radically support skin health, stimulating both blood and lymph microcirculation and the metabolic processes of the cells to intensely hydrate and plump the skin from within.

Bladderwrack is scientifically proven to increase the skin's ability to fight free radicals by +280% and boost Type One Collagen production in the skin by +126%.

VicoSkin’s Bladderwrack is sourced from the Baltic Sea. During the summer months when it reaches its most potent Vitamin A content and again in Autumn, at its peak levels for Vitamin C.

#2 Jania Rubens:
A red algae rich in Taurine, known for its energising properties, stimulates blood circulation and intra-cellular energy to boost ATP and collagen synthesis and tackle signs of skin-fatigue. This fast acting compound is full of diverse bioactives and trace minerals to accelerate skin metabolism for rapid regeneration and skin healing. High levels of iodine make this an ideal active for treating inflammatory acne while also instantly soothing and minimising redness and swelling, making it ideal for use post-treatment or for sensitised skin.

#3 Hydrolyzed Rhodophycea Extract
A second hard working red algae in the Vico Marine Complex, rich in bioactive trace minerals known to deliver intense hydration by supporting the skin's natural hyaluronic synthesis and improve skin regeneration by increasing the skin's antimicrobial and antioxidant defences.

Watermelon Seed Oil
Rich in Beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant and one of the most efficacious vitamins for healing and skin repair, removing impurities and improving circulation. A non-comedogenic, it deeply penetrates the skin to tackle inflammation, calm and even skin tone.

Calendula Oil Extract
Well known for its skin-healing and anti-inflammatory properties, Calendula Oil soothes and strengthens the skin with its ability to reduce trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL), helping the skin to protect itself against irritation and stressors.
